"Absolutely the best! This is my second experience with this Vet Hospital and both amazing ER experiences!! Genuinely concerned about my lab, administered care with minimal wait time (maybe 15 mins at most) and the vet stayed overtime on her Saturday night to treat my very sick dog. Both times they explained everything in detail and were so gentle with my pet I was surprised how calm and not anxious she was. The treatment plan was thoroughly discussed & printed for me. Huge relief for scary moments!!!"

"I just had the most unbelievably rude experience on the phone with Monica, Adrian, and a female veterinarian who refused to tell me her name. Read all the Reddit reviews, too, if your are considering taking your beloved animal to this vet. This was clearly not an isolated incident. The conduct of these three women was atrocious. This is extremely disappointing, as the man I spoke with on the phone was nothing but kind and helpful when I made my appointment. I cannot recommend this veterinary practice at all based on these three employees' conduct. They are incapable of accepting any feedback. Instead, they outright attacked the person giving the feedback about their highly unprofessional phone conduct. They seriously behaved like a trio of mean girls. Unbelievably unprofessional."

"I’ve had two recent emergency experiences here - once on Xmas Eve (sadly had to put my 14 year old kitty to sleep) and today with my golden retriever who had a high fever and a horrific hotspot. All taken care of now. Just wanted to say that I am so glad to have Monterey Peninsula Vet nearby, now that we live here with our furry family. Experienced, compassionate, (no-nonsense!) vets, vet tech support staff, and reasonable emergency services pricing. (We had an outrageous bill previously at another emergency place nearby). They were so compassionate with my kitty / and we received a card signed by the whole office a few days later."

"We required emergency care for our dog in the early morning and she was seen right away. As a skittish German Shepherd, she was on the aggressive side. In response, they spent the time to literally train her prior to treatment, so she could tolerate the preparation. They also educated us as pet owners which was much appreciated. Our pet is recovering well. ~Thank you!"

"I have trusted my beloved pets to Monterey Peninsula Vets for as many years as they have been open. They have consistently made good sound medical evaluations for all of them. My dogs have been treated for emergencies and on going care such as vaccinations and teeth cleaning.The team has also been caring and supportive with end of life decisions. MPV treats both my geriatric dogs including one who has ongoing pancreatic issues. I feel fully informed on the possible treatment options and plans and medications. I trust this office and feel comforted by the best 24 hour care available."
