Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

"We stayed in the Avenue of the Arts hotel in Costa Mesa and it was wonderful. The room was clean, the food was delicious but more importantly, the staff was truly exceptional!!! We were all very impressed and the whole trip was delightful! Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality."

"I just spent a few nights at Avenue of the Arts while working in Santa Ana. First off, I want to say the service was EXCELLENT. The staff was pleasant, The lobby was clean. The doorman always tried to be there to hold the door or help with luggage. The room was clean. The bedding was high quality. The lighting for working was average. Most hotels have trouble with this. For some of us the room is an office. Now on to the disappointing part. The bathroom needs some maintenance. If I were with my wife, I would have requested a different room. I was by myself and I could deal with it for a couple nights. The seal to the shower door allowed a lot of water to leak on to the floor. If I had long hair or saved my legs, the water would have run out of the bathroom. I have included pictures so you can see the issue. I would not be so picky except you can see it has been doing this for a long time. The wood floor is rotting. I had to step over it so that I would not get splinters in my feet. At one point in time, this was probably a very nice hotel. Overall, this one needs some serious maintenance. Note to top tier: Breakfast is very limited. One choice at the restaurant or $13 off something else. The food was EXCELLENT but one choice. I hope this can be constructive to improve some of these issues."

"This is an older property but clean and the service is above average! We loved the bar/restaurant. They are happy to accommodate your requests. They had an amazing hospitality manager who was everywhere! He was our bartender one night and was running around the restaurant for breakfast. Amazing personality. He made us feel special and wanted! Found out he was just on loan from another property… I think Irvine Westin. Wow! He is in the right profession, he made the stay/trip awesome. I wish I had taken pictures. The property is beautiful and the lake area is very pretty. You get to watch a parade of dogs being walked from the balcony and lots of entertainment! It is walking distance to Vaca and Mastro’s also! If you are a foodie this is a great property to stay at."

"Amazing experience, staff were very kind and accommodating. The beds were so comfy. Rooms were clean. Love the bathrobes! This hotel felt like we should have paid twice the price.The restaurant and bar had great atmosphere and drinks were delicious. Only recommendations I have, the mini bar was somewhat lacking and water pressure in shower could be higher. Shout out to Raz! He went above and beyond to take care of us. Definitely recommend you consider him for management! Thank you, we will definitely return."

"Beautiful entrance, and a somewhat accesable location... but that's it for good things about the hotel. The windows, the doors, and the walls have 0 noise isolation, and people do scream (seemingly every 90 seconds at 10pm) from the recreation areas, you will hear every and all dog barks from the park, and the conversations from the hallway feel like they're in your room's foyer. Despite the effortless sonic penetration of everything in this hotel, the wifi will be unable to reach your room (hope you have unlimited). Parking is a slightly steep price."
