"I am used to older places and not up-to-date, but this was not kept up and somewhat repulsive. The room had ants and “bugs”! The Parking stalls were so close we couldn’t get out when parked. The pool and hot tub was closed and overran with weeds. The room smelled like marijuana and the area near the ice machine smelled like an out house. If you need ADA accommodations; you will not get that here."
"I was absolutely shocked out how disgusting these rooms and the manager were. I will never forget how horrible of an experience I had and I have never had a bad experience in Costa Mesa in my life. Everytime I drive by it I hope that it is torn down or everything is new. The manager should not be allowed to work in this city. Costa Mesans don’t deserve to be mistreated and certainly don’t do business like him. A disgrace."
"The best way to describe this hotel is, "You get what you pay for." It's old, rundown, and in desperate need of an updated renovation. There are stains all over the carpet (if you can even call it that), there are rust marks all over the 80s/ early 90s, "whirlpool bath," and bathroom sink. Like others have mentioned, there is a pool area, but there isn't any water or access. The stairs and walk paths are old and unkept. The only shining star is that the key card locks on the doors seem to be newer. We chose this hotel because it is only about a 20-30 minute drive to Disneyland, but I will never stay here again. In summary, if you want to pay $80-100/night for four walls and a bed that is only a slight upgrade from a park bench or the sidewalk, then that's your decision."
"It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, no doubt. We dropped off our things at the hotel, came back after going to an event and hitting the grocery store, went to take a shower when I returned, and a cockroach appeared from under the soap bar. I then looked at the ground and saw a couple more. I took videos and showed the front desk clerk. He didn’t believe the videos. He went to the room and said we were not eligible for a refund. Disgusting rooms and even worse business. Never go to this place!!!"
"I ended up needing a room after a rain storm came through. I booked it here and what pleasant surprise! Can't beat the price, Mathys checked me in and was amazing, so helpful and friendly! I will definitely be back."
