"There are big rooms When we entered the room there was a strong smell of cigarette The pool closes at 7pm. It's pretty soon for us and we didn't find this information in our reservation Continuous generator or refrigerator noise Some machines for buying drinks and snacks outside"
"THIS PLACE IS A JOKE, UNORGANIZED, DISRESPECTFUL, DISHONEST ETC. i stayed there over two weeks ago. im still trying to get my deposit back and they are playing games making me call every day , they refuse to come to the phone and always want to take a message. heres the crazy part. i extended my stay, paid for it, had a confirmation and even spoke to the owner lady the day before because i really needed to sleep in from being up sick from my cancer treatments. well i woke up to the costa mesa police that morning to my surprise. The officer said i was trespassing and i needed to vacate the premises. i calmly showed the officer my confirmation and then i showed the front desk. AND the chubby irrational girl at the front desk didnt even apologize and told the police she still wanted me to leave. i was mortified and have never been treated this way, im a military vet, AARP member and currently going through cancer treatments and this place called the police and evicted me for no reason and has the edacity to make me struggle getting refunded and lots more. Sunset Inn you are in violation of consumer protection laws and face legal action from both state and federal authorities as well as a civil lawsuit from yours truly. this time you messed with the wrong person seeing im also a retired attorney that specializes in cases just like this."
"Definitely not worth spending another night it’s a ridiculous price no phone, severely damaged mini Fridge, the pillows ARE NOT EVEN PILLOWS ITS JUST CLOTH my neck is hurting! the only reason why it’s giving 2 stars is because the shower is really nice, with that kind of price should be more Better and more professional with some assistance or something, and the room has a strange syrup smell"
"Rooms are in really bad shape. The heater is very noisy and the room smells.... A thrift store shopping for furnitures could have had a better outcome. I would pay $30-40 for such place. But, it’s my own fault for I did not read the reviews first and just jumped in."
