Costco Pharmacy

"Spoke with Karlo about a prescription that I believe was filled in error. They gave me my prescription with not way to dispense it, tried to blame my doctor, and when I questioned it being filled differently in the past he was extremely rude. I am taking this medication as a precaution currently but if I depended on it I would be even more upset. Costcos protocol does not match that of other pharmacies, as they required a separate prescription for dispensing needles, ultimately charging me separately for the two. The Costco managers I spoke with about this situation were much more communicative than the pharmacists. I will be going back to Walgreens and do not recommend this pharmacy."

"I’ve been using this pharmacy location monthly for 7 years. So far they’ve only made one error in getting an Rx filled ahead of time. They filled it on the spot when I showed up. The staff is cordial and they’ve communicated fine with me. I have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars."

"Horror Horror Horror! This is the only way to describe this place. Typically I don't give negative reviews because things happen and people make mistakes, BUT this place has given so much grief to my family that I can't contain truth to come out. 1. Once they were giving us wrong quantity of very expensive medications and the called it is our fault that we picked wrong quantity. They tried to whitewash their mistake by putting fault on insurance. Once insurance stepped-in they immediately accepted their mistake and filled missing quantity on their own cost. I leave it to your imagination where missing expensive medication was going. 2. Another time, they filled one week's supply that doctor wanted to try as FULL month of supply. Like saying 7 tabs will last 30 days!!!. Again when pushed hard, they realized their mistake but it took multiple calls and hassle. 3. Most recently they sent a pre-auth request back to doctor's office while already getting approval from insurance. And they didn't even have the meds and were planning to get in few days. Who is going to tell customer that!? We couldn't have uncertainty so called other pharmacies in the area and found available stock. Now the challenge began to have Costco transfer the prescription. It literally took more than dozen calls for Costco to send prescription to other pharmacy. They kept lying "we have sent it" when in reality they didn't. That was the final nail. I am done with this pharmacy. Pulling all prescriptions and going somewhere else, not before leaving this review and filing formal complaint to the Costco."

"It’s Costco pharmacy being taken over by China there was not one single other race there only Asians and they don’t understand anything i said. They only understand chopped English. Frustration to no end"

"Costco pharmacy Roseville off standford ranch is one hell of a pharmacy. I have 4 prescriptions monthly not to mention the rest of my family. They always have my meds in stock. Always fill it as soon as possible. Never give me the run around. Always quick to contact my doctor if last refill. Very courteous on the on the phone and in person. Zero judgements or snooty comments. Always very helpful and work with you to get your medicine in hand and on with your day. I have worked with all members (as a customer) of the pharmacy and can tell you this there is not a single incompetent person working there. They know they job and business and do it well. They don’t complain show attitude and understand that medicine is important to people so never complain about checking on status of refills. They always are on point with dates of pickup and always recognize you which is a nice touch on their part that they pull your meds before your even to the counter if they see you in line. All of the employees here from the pharmacists to the cashiers to the pharmacy technicians are on point and so their jobs so well. Thank you. (Side note it does get crowded the line does but if you wait the line moves fast) Bravo"
