"I had previously written a review but wanted to update now that my husband and I have moved out. We lived here for about a year and a half. Pros: -The maintenance crew is incredible. Super nice and quick to fix things. -love love the pool area! -awesome location -No dog breed restrictions, so good to see as a bully owner -they let us break our lease early due to shutting down the one elevator in our building while my husband is waiting on a hip replacement and can’t use stairs. They gave us the option to change units or move out but we chose to move out for the following reasons. Cons: -It’s a run down apartment labeled as “luxurious” when it’s far from. The quality of the apartment is poor. Bad paint jobs, crooked outlets, poor quality fixtures and appliances is what you can expect here. Our dishwasher and washer/dryer worked very poorly and we had maintenance over a ton due to things breaking, toilets not working properly, etc. We’re pretty sure there was mold in our bathroom as well. - The gym is so small you can’t workout if there are more than 3-4 people -Dirty hallways and stairwells. The stairwells constantly smelled and some people let their dogs pee in there without cleaning it up. -Parking spaces are tiny. Tough for someone like me with a large or long car as all spots are compact size. -These people try to take as much of your money as possible. After moving out and breaking our lease early we were charged a full months rent the following month. This is not okay whatsoever. But what’s extremely frustrating is the fact that office staff acted as if it was our fault for not stopping the payments from going through. As a military fam we have lived in about 7 apartments, not a single one has ever placed that responsibility on us. It is always the apartments job to ensure tenants are not continuing to be charged upon move out. We were also charged $600 on top of our $500 deposit upon move out which is absolutely ridiculous. Again, after 7 apartments we have always gotten all of or the majority of our deposit back. Yes, our apartment needed to be cleaned and there were some spots that needed to be painted but there were absolutely not $1100 in damages. We took pretty good care of the place, our dog never had an accident on the floor, so I have no idea how they pulled that number out. They took advantage and I can see based on reviews that they’ve done that to others as well. Overall, while our time there was fine I do not recommend the complex. It’s simply not worth it when there are many other apartments far nicer than this one for the same price."

"I've had a wonderful experience living in this apartment complex. The amenities, especially the daily cookies and coffee in the leasing office, add a special touch to my daily routine. The complex events are always well-organized and enjoyable, making it a great community to be a part of. A special shoutout to Stacia and Isaac for their exceptional service and friendly attitudes."

"In August we were told there would be a mandatory elevator shut down in our building that would last 1-4 weeks to repair. We informed the complex that this would severely affect us given that we are on the third floor and our service dog with hip dysplasia (golden retriever) could not go up and down 3-4 flights of stairs 3-4 times a day. We were given the option to move to the first floor and pay the same amount that we pay for our 3rd floor or move out. Both of these options were extremely costly and not helpful. We had to send our Golden away a had to pay weekly for her stay. The elevator renovation process ended up taking 6 weeks and when asked for support in the financial and lifestyle changes- not having our service animal, we were told there was nothing they could do. We later received an email for a last minute pizza party during working hours. Our concerns and requests were dismissed and we lost thousands of dollars in the process and 6 weeks without our service dog. When the elevators reopened, it was in worse condition then before the “repairs”. It was the same broken and janky elevator with the only difference being the buttons, and now the elevator shows the wrong floor number on all floors."

"Amazing place to live at! Great neighbors and friendly staffs. Maintenance team is always fast and efficient. I love the convenient location of this community, as well as the security it is able to provide. I’ve been here for over 6 months and i definitely enjoyed my everyday here. It is safe to walk around late at night, and I don’t have any safety issue related to my car or my parcel. Highly recommend for people who are looking to move to San Diego, this is a great place to start with!"
