"WARNING: DO NOT TRUST REMAX IF YOU HAVE A VOUCHER. I have a full time job but found myself homeless due to my landlord of eleven years passing away. I have excellent rental history , employment history, and absolutely no criminal record. My credit score is fair. I went through the entire nearly 2 month process. I got my application approved. I waited for a unit to come available that takes vouchers because although they claim to be voucher friendly , most of their units do not accept vouchers. Once a unit that takes vouchers becomes available you have to race to be the first one to claim it . I did. My RTA was submitted. I waited for inspection which they made take longer . I spoke directly to the CMHA Inspections Supervisor and he indicated CMHA would have done it sooner but Remax chose a later date. Remax failed the inspection. Remax assured me they would make the repairs necessary. I waited. Remax told me they completed repairs.. I waited. I wrote them to check if inspection had been rescheduled. Remax responded that they accepted a deposit from someone else and the unit is not available. They were aware my family is homeless and I had been waiting for months on them and they cared zero. Long story short Remax does not care at all about renters nor do they see us as individuals. They have zero empathy or compassion even if you meet all qualifications they will still do only what is best for Remax .Remax prefers renters without vouchers and those people will take preference over voucher holders instantly. Please heed my warning and do not do business with Remax."

"As a Property Manager, I thought that I seen the last of the unprofessionalism and inattentive to their tenants and needs. What company take over a property once a owner purchase it and then try to evict tenant without having their ducks in around (Re/Max), Who ever this Chris (Female) filed an eviction on me went to the hearing got a continuance because I had to bring my previous property manager in to testify about the "Rent Concession Addendum" then for them to dismiss the case. But, not once was I given an apology for their error, grant it that some people just don't have the people skills to be in management and need to stay to the aggressive sale of properties."
