"My brother recently bought a home from an agent that works here, Cortney Comisar. A day after my brother moved in to his new home, water came pouring out from around the bottom of the toilet. He sent pictures to Cortney who told him that she was contacting the seller's agent immediately and was forwarding pictures of the damage. That was a lie. After nothing happened to solve the problem and more plumbing issues/damage, my brother contacted the seller's agent himself to discover that Cortney never sent the pictures nor contacted the agent at all. The seller's agent informed us that because of this, too much time had passed and that there isn't much that can be done. At that point, Cortney Comisar then agreed to pay for damages due to her negligence. She made a partial payment and then told me brother to not contact her and that she will no longer pay the money that she agreed to pay. My brother is now facing over $8k in damages on top of what he has already paid. His floors all need completely replaced, cabinets in the kitchen are being gutted and replaced among other things due to sewage contamination. It should also be noted that the inspector that Cortney recommended did not catch any of these issues and when my brother inquired about him missing such huge items she became defensive of the inspector as, come to find out, they have a personal relationship. DO NOT use Cortney Comisar as an agent if you want an honest agent to represent you and sell you a home that is habitable."
