"We went here a while back to try to find a new church. One of the first things the pastor said was “I see some new faces. Know, we don’t come to church to feel better about ourselves.” He made direct eye contact with us. Not a welcoming first impression. The congregation was nice, but that pastor has some humbling to do."

"Stopped in from out of state for Good Friday / Tenebrae and Pastor John promptly greeted my family and I at the door, blessed our young daughter, and we stepped into a most beautiful sanctuary to participate in a wonderful night of worship. Highly recommended for any Christian, especially Lutherans or one who enjoys liturgy. They also seem to have extensive ministries to assist the least of these."
"Pastor John is a wonderful person. The church is looking great. They help the homeless during cold eeather for shelter for a place to sleep and have dinner and prayer service on Wednesday evenings for all. Great work they do."
