"I began my studies in Thai massage therapy in Thailand in 2018. I live in southeast Georgia and have been challenged finding a teacher to continue study with that is accessible to me. By the grace of the Great Spirit of the Universe, I was led to Kelly Nichols Scott at Glowing Body in Knoxville, Tennessee. Upon my first training with her in April 2024, I knew I had found my mentor. Kelly is masterful in her craft of healing and bodywork. She is skillful and passionate and so intune to energy that I am convinced she can look at you and see where you are carrying blocks and pains. She is a compassionate teacher that is attentive and truly caring of her students. I feel deeply blessed to have found her on this healing arts path. She is one of my most cherished gifts that I've received in this lifetime. I'm excited to see where this road goes as I continue to develop my practice under her guidance. "Overall 10/10 yoga studio. Went to their yinyasa flow with Jennifer. What an amazing instructor! She really focused on emphasizing the strength component of each pose instead of just passively letting flexibility take over. This is big for me since I’m so hypermobile. Also loved the addition of bolsters and blankets used, it made it so comfy! Love this place, definitely go check it out if you’re in the Knoxville area!"

"I was greeted warmly when I arrived by both Katie and Kelly. Kelly took the time to give me a studio tour. What an amazing space! This was the first time I had an osteopathic Thai massage and I was pleased with both the delivery and the results. Kelly is extremely knowledgeable and shared many movements that I can and will do to help with joint issues. I will be back for other sessions and would encourage others to try this technique."

"My happy place. I was so thankful to find glowing body when moving to knox. They’re extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and experienced. The class options are so diverse and accommodating to all skills and styles. And they offer special workshops. I learned so much from Kim P’s foundations of flow series — I feel so much more powerful in my practice now. I’m so sad to leave this special place as I move back to Nash, but I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a new studio or just getting into yoga! All of the instructors so genuinely passionate and happy to be there and remember your face and name. It’s always scary trying a new place in a new city, but glowing body made me feel like a regular in no time. I looked forward to Jessica’s Thursday evening classes weekly (she loves to challenge us / teach a new pose). Oh and I learned how to do a headstand in Kim L’s classes after practicing yoga for over a year and never having the courage to try before!
