Reviews
"Great communication!"
"I recently had the pleasure of interacting with this brokerage on behalf of my client. Both the realtor, Ed Harrison, and the broker, Tonya, were courteous, friendly, and above all knowledgeable. When asking questions, I normally get the response "I don't know", with no further response. It is refreshing to have someone assist you especially in today's world where "I don't know" is the standard. I love having solutions, not problems, and I trust Knoxville Fine Homes Realty to have THE solution."
"It’s very unfortunate I am having to leave this review. I have never left anyone a bad review and hopefully will not have to do this again. Saying that, do not trust this company with buying or selling your home. They are dishonest and only care about the money. This firm will stand by there agents regardless of any unprofessional actions that have occurred. Customer service is not a priority or standard with this firm. We tried to allow this firm to do the right thing and get out of our contract cordially, but they are unwilling to work with us. Details below. As a background, we had a pretty unprofessional experience with our last purchasing process of buying a home. We didn’t end up going through with this purchase. So basically there was three things that stood out that we thought was unprofessional during the process of purchasing a home. 1) We put an offer on a home on a Saturday. We received a counter offer back around 3:00 on Sunday. We had close to or at 24 hours to respond. Given that my wife and I both work and sometimes we have no access to our phones during the day due to the nature of our jobs, we had to make this decision of how we were going to proceed before we went to sleep on Sunday. Despite our realtor knowing we would likely want her advice in helping us make our decision on whether to accept or recounter, she had went out and had too many drinks. We weren’t able to get any sound advice and we were on our own in making this decision, which was a half a million dollar decision. She ended up drunk calling us later that night to confirm what we had already suspected of her drinking. Her words were very slurred and she was non-coherent. Secondly, due to unforeseen circumstances with our lender, we were forced to go contingent instead of out right buying the house, so the offer had to be modified. In doing so, we told our agent we were using someone else to sell our home. The way she handled that was unprofessional. She tried to manipulate us to using her by saying, “I doubt they’ll accept the contingency if I am not the one representing you all in selling your home.” Not only is that manipulative, but it was dishonest. Neither my wife or myself respond very well to that. Thirdly, after the second incident she didn’t seem as willing to represent us very well. She told us contact the seller agent for questions so we had to reach out to him directly. She also didn’t seem to fight for nearly anything we wanted. The answers we got was along the lines of “I don’t think they’re going to do it” or “maybe this isn’t the house” instead of “let me see what I can do” or “I am going to do my best in getting you all this house.” At one point, it made us question if she was working for us or the sellers. Because of all this, we want to cordially be released from contract. However, the broker is not taking the side of us the customers, but the side of her agent. Despite this, Tonya the broker thinks our agent deserves to be compensated. Beyond that, she apparently thinks my wife and I are liars. She didn’t deliberately say that, but context clues confirm it. When I brought up the intoxication incident her words were, “I am sorry about that, but I wasn’t there.” Aka, I don’t believe you and your wife are telling the truth. If she did believe us, she would act upon that belief. She wouldn’t say, “well I wasn’t there…” Use someone that is going to stand by you and a company that values customer service."
