About the Business
Welcome to Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church
Located at 400 Everett Road, Knoxville, Tennessee, Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church is a vibrant place of worship dedicated to fostering a community rooted in faith, love, and compassion. Established in 1860, our church has been a cornerstone in the community for over 160 years, growing from a small congregation to a thriving assembly passionate about making a positive impact in the world.
At Union, we believe in the transformative power of God's love and grace. Our mission is to create a community where individuals can grow together in faith, guided by the teachings of the Bible and the Holy Trinity. We are committed to living out Christian kindness and compassion, both within our church family and in the wider community.
We invite you to join us in worship and fellowship through a variety of services and events designed to support and enrich your spiritual journey. Our offerings include:
- Weekly Worship Services: Join us every Sunday to experience uplifting sermons and communal worship.
- Bible Study Groups: Deepen your understanding of the scriptures with our engaging study sessions, including the Wednesday Half-Time Fellowship dinner and Bible study at 6 PM, and the Grumpy Men’s Bible Study on Thursday mornings at 10 AM.
- Community Outreach: Participate in our efforts to support local causes, such as our ongoing collection of kitty litter, cat, and dog food for the Humane Society.
Stay connected with us through our church radio station on WUCP FM 99.9, available over the air in Farragut or through streaming platforms like TuneIn and Alexa. We are also working diligently to restore our streaming services to ensure everyone can join our community from anywhere.
In these challenging times, we appeal to our church members to prayerfully consider stepping up their giving to help fund our mission, as costs have risen while offerings have not. Your generosity helps us continue our work and extend God's love to those in need.
Join us at Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church and become part of a community where you can find hope, experience God's love in new ways, and connect with like-minded individuals. Whether you are a long-time member or a first-time visitor, we welcome you with open arms.

"When I first went to Union, I went for the blessing of the bikes. They treated us so well, and I fell in love with this church and knew that I wanted this to be my church. Unfortunately, I was money hungry, so I didn't go back until I lost my mom in January of 2022, I felt lost and broken, and all I wanted was my mom back so I went too Union Presbyterian Church on Easter Sunday hoping to find my mom and instead I found God, and a church family. My church family is so amazing. I sing in the church choir, the women's ministry, attend Wednesday nite bible study, Sunday Bible Study, church service on Sunday, and I also volunteer every chance I can to help out. My church is like my second home."
"My son and new daughter in law just got married there. Beautiful sanctuary. Preacher is a hoot!! Very positive atmosphere"
"Not just a church but more like home. You can feel the presence of the Lord when you walk through the doors. Been a member since 1990. Everyone makes you feel like family and welcome. Love this place."
"Been going to this church for several years. I love the people are great. They have several bible studies going. I love the Wednesday night bible study. I recommend trying this church once you will never want to stop going."
"I have been there several times and have taken my family of five. They are very loving and genuinely welcoming!!! I am appreciative of the strong biblical teaching and preaching. The LORD's loving presence can be felt during the worship, message, and from the conversations with the people. I prayerfully ask you to visit if you are being led to because it will be encouraging and nurturing for your spirit. We have been blessed and shall return soon and often."
