"I do not recommend financing a car or buying a house with this credit union. This is biggest regret in my life. I’ve had nothing but issues with the staff here. They’re unprofessional, rude and incompetent. Randomly adding fees, having to argue about it, what’s due and what isn’t. They charged me $800 for saying my car insurance lapse and asked for a 3 month declaration page. Car insurance only provide a 6 month or annual declaration page and once I provided my declaration page they stilled charged me and stop responding. I have two years left to pay off my car and I am closing my account. Please avoid this place there’s no benefit banking with them."

"Banked at Cal City for almost 10 yrs. They are behind in technology like online deposit (just got up and running not to long ago), also no tap cards yet, the app sucks like its a app from early 2000s. It's just a old ppl bank. I try to do everything electronically I hate going in to the branch because it's all fake smiles hiding what feels like trying to hide there racist feels. The only good thing about going is the security guard is a cool guy big ups to him."

"We bought a vehicle at Marino dealership in Chicago with a good credit score. For some reason the loan was given to Iliana. They practice a variety of unethical loan practices. They charge late fees despite payments on the due date, along with taking out insurance and charging me for the insurance if I don't put a lien on my own vehicle and provide insurance information even though it is required by law. Calling or emailing is a complete waste of your time because they are trained not to help you or resolve your issues, just bounce you around from person to person who are obviously trained to frustrate clients rather than actually help them. Avoid this service at ALL COSTS."
