"This doctor is a joke. I wouldn't recommend my cat to see him and I don't like animals...."
"I was in hospital till 2am. I was told by the doctor at the er to follow up with my doc. So when I called this morning to schedule the receptionist said she couldn't hear me. So yes I got frustrated with her. So she hung up the phone on me & refused my calls 4 times. Then trying to call back she acting n playing she's is s victim here n she is not. Then she hung up the phone again n is refusing to let me talk w my doctor. She needs to be fired. If I can't talk to my doctor by end of day, I'll find another doctor & receptionist who can hear."
"I searched long and hard to find my elderly dad a good doctor in NWI. I finally thought I found one in Dr. Manyari. He is not the most personable but that was fine as long as he was attentive to my dads needs. I established upfront that I lived out of state and my dad must call me during each visit because he suffers from mild dementia. This was noted in his records and I had several conversations with the nurses, front desk, and Dr Manyari. One of the earlier red flags was when I wasn’t able to attend the doctors visit and my dad didn’t call. Dr Manyari prescribed my dad muscle relaxers, hydrocodone and anti depressant at the same time. I didn’t understand this because Dr Manyari had been resistant to this type of treatment therapy in the past. I figured it out because I received several phone calls from local residents saying my dad was acting strange and falling asleep standing up. I told my dad not to take all of those pills and we would figure it out on our own. The final straw was during this pandemic. My dad had to come stay with us out of town but unfortunately he has had to go to ER and has had 3 subsequent hospital stays. It was critical for the hospital attending physicians to work in tangent with Dr Manyari, they wanted to ensure my dad had follow up care from his primary care physician- on his medical history, treatment etc. I was at a loss and wasn’t sure what to do so I called Dr Manyari office to find out the best approach. His office had him call me back which is something he has not ever been willing to do so I should’ve known it was fishy. I called to find out the process for linking up the out of town doctors with Dr Manyari. He called and initially I was impressed that he cared enough to call. I talked to him for 3 minutes explained the situation and he said he would have to see the hospital records in order to provide guidance -he said they could request my dads hospital records. He didn’t ask any specific medical questions and after we hung up I was wondering how they would obtain the records. I continuously checked my dads My Chart online to see if Dr Manyari accessed my dads chart but he had not, there has not been any notes or a request. I even linked my dads out of town current medical charts with Dr Manyari medical group chart. Then when I had almost given up hope I saw something in my dads chart. Dr Manyari CHARGED for a phone consult which would’ve been OK had he actually “consulted” on my dads medical care. I am appalled at the blatant greed. He did that because he COULD during a pandemic. There had been times over the years when I called the office to actually get a telephone consult but Dr Manyari instructed his staff to tell patients to go to ER. I have no faith in Dr Manyari intentions and do not want this to happen to anyone else."
"Dr. Manyari is an excellent doctor. My first visit with him today was one of the best wellness visits I have ever had. He was extremely thorough and I never once felt rushed. He took his time to explain things to me. I am very glad I found him."
"This Doctor Speaks Spanish, HOWEVER, He DOESNT assist the issue. He seen My mother she needs two meds that He put her on; because he seen her behaivoral stage. YET he DID NOT gave her refills, then when she calls in refills they say SHE NEEDS to go in? Makes NO sence to me, HE put her on this meds YET NO refills. Shes been out of those specific MEDS for like 2months. Why NOT REFILL them ASAP, If they know HE knows her Stage."
