"If I can give it a -0 I would, but unfortunately 1 star is an option. We returned my mother's car to Lans City Auto Rebuilders after they initially failed to properly repair several components. Not only were many parts incorrectly installed, but it also appeared as though they used old, worn pieces instead of ordering the correct new parts for our car. This shop operates more like a "chop shop," where they allegedly take parts from other vehicles and reuse them. When insurance companies pay them to repair cars, they seemingly replace damaged parts with old, substandard ones. After returning the car for the second time to address these issues, my mother's car battery was stolen and replaced with a faulty one. She was only able to drive the car for less than a day before it wouldn’t start at all. A few weeks later, a different mechanic confirmed that Lans City Auto Rebuilders had indeed switched her battery with an old, non-functional one. Given our experience, I strongly discourage anyone from taking their vehicle to this establishment or for any insurance company to recommend them. Their practices are dishonest and harmful, and they should be investigated for theft and substandard repair work."

"I can not wait until whenever they finish with my car ! I understand the process of them taking time to work but I don’t appreciate basically being called a liar ! I call at least once every other week just to get updates on my car . One guy tells me once thing and when it should be ready and I call back a few days later for another update and I get getting different answers ! I tried to be calm and understand they are working but I just didn’t appreciate the feed back and reaction I got from whomever answered the phone . I can’t wait until whenever they finish because I guarantee if I need any other work done , they will not be fix working on my car !"

"The owner almost begged for me to allow him to fix my car after I had my car accident. I allowed him to do the work, and he did not tighten my radiator correctly. All of my trans fluid leaked out of the car. I called him a week after I got my car back, and he told me to take it to a mechanic. Keep in mind that State Farm paid him for the work already. Long story short, the owner is nice at the beginning, but when he gets paid for the job and something goes wrong he has another mean and sarcastic side to him. I would not let him work on anything of mine ever again and I would not recommend anyone going to this place!"
