- Fire Departments: Serving a 30-square-mile area, Springfield boasts three fire stations located in the hamlets of Juliustown, Jobstown, and Jacksonville. Our volunteer firefighters are vital to the community, actively engaging in fire suppression, vehicular rescue, fire police assignments, fire prevention training, and monthly drills.
