"Nice stop along the Delaware Washington encampments area - there are several along the river and towpath areas of the canal. Nice area to get out and walk around -"
"Beautiful well-maintained farm, just across from Bowman Tower. They have porta potty’s there in case you need them and the animals and barns are well-maintained. The Thompson Neely house is right along the river and clearly is home to visits from educational groups. A great place to take small children. On-site parking. Many additional adjacent paths that are easily walkable and beautiful on nice days."
"Very cool little stop off. Worth the few bucks for the tour and to see the grist mill. A lot of history in the area and the mill is still working and produces flour products. Cool stuff and educational."
"Visited the Thompson-Neely House and Grist Mill yesterday with an Army buddy and his wife. Was amazed to learn is operating now and open for tours."
"Really cool historic site! It was deserted when my dad and I went, so we got essentially a private tour. The tour guide (I didn't get his name, unfortunately) knew his stuff and answered all the questions I had about the architecture and preservation of the house. Worth a visit if you're in the area and have some time to spare!"
