New Hope Railroad

"Train ride is kinda bumpy but an overall nice experience. Very spacious in the seats. The conductor tells you cool facts about the area pertaining to the railroad as you ride. The train station itself is also very lovely. My son was super excited about visiting. Staff very friendly. Parking is really ridiculously overpriced and honestly a nightmare. $50 for 3 hours. Street parking is apparently super iffy."

"Such a fun experience! Splurged for first class tickets and ended up being one of three couples in the car. Our bartender was very sweet and informative, which made the trip all the better! Highly recommend!"

"Had a great experience on the New Hope Railroad for the Christmas experience with Santa. My 3 year old daughter loved it. Santa did a great job along with the bango player. The conductor and all the staff were also very polite and helpful too. I didn't know what to expect when reading the other reviews but we gave it a shot and were pleasantly surprised. It's definitely for kids and if you go in with the expectations that it's not about you and it's about how happy they are with the experience it's worth it."

"I could see how this can be a nice experience but for us it was an unfortunate flop. Because of the rain the engine kept skipping and the train was jerking a lot and not safe for walking or standing up. And we had to stop on the tracks for a long time and couldn't really enjoy the ride. The hostess in our car was super nice though and tried to make up for the delay. The hot chocolate tasted horrible so I didn't drink it, but my husband and daughter did. My husband got nauseous and my daughter was throwing up for hours. I was fine. We spent nearly $500 for this experience and I unfortunately do not think it was worth it, so I do not think we will ever return in the future. I wish this wasn't our experience."

"An excellent place to spend a birthday. They had 2 trains running, each on the half hour - hour mark. Not to mention amazing photography opportunities. Bathrooms, Building, and Railroad Infrastructure is in amazing condition. An added bonus is the restaurant that overlooks the railroad line, and the nearby Peddler's Village."
