Reviews of Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve
"A nice friendly historic beautiful farm. I love the sheep and Stine buildings. Gorgeous area close to Washington Crossing and the D&L bike /walking trail. Free, plenty of parking"
"A beautiful park with lots of great native plants and flowers and wildlife. Many trails - short but stunning. A lovely nursery to buy native and fauna friendly plants. The folks at the visitor center are very friendly and knowledgeable."
"The Wildflower Preserve is in beautiful Bucks County. I go there often throughout the year for the foliage changes every season. The Pond is most lively in August/Sept with turtles, snakes, dragonflies, frogs and beautiful lilypads and wildflowers. Great easy nature trails for all ages. They sell plants and trees. There is a fee to enter ($9, I believe) or you can do a yearly donation and get a membership. They also have educational lectures throughout the year. You can also visit Bowman's tower and Washington's Crossing parks from the Preaerve. Enjoy!"
"We stopped in while visiting the area to walk through this area on a beautiful early Fall Day. All the walking trails in the preserve are short but if you put them all together it's a pleasant place to spend an afternoon. There is also a really nice native plant nursery where you get purchase all kinds of local plants. We enjoyed our afternoon here."
"A great year-round nature area with so many great attributes. There is a fee to enter unless a member although worth it for the trails and educational value. The visitor center has restrooms, water, books for sale and helpful people. There is a defect amount of parking even if you need to pull your car to the side of the entry road. Trails are well-marked and often covered in crushed stone or wood chips. Highly varied areas from open to shaded to waterside. Many signs with information about plant and animal life. Also many structures to view or rest underneath. Definitely worth a visit!"
