"My husband and I had a fantastic experience getting our lease. The entire staff was extremely kind, professional and helpful. Vito was super personable and knowledgeable and made the process easy from start to finish."
"Our vehicle went in for routine service in June and left with a dent on our passenger side door. I notified them immediately, and the service manager advised me to take pictures and email them. She would then contact me to set up arrangements and get the door fixed. I sent the pictures, confirmed they were received and forwarded to the service manager, and have been ghosted ever since. Multiple messages left and attempts to make contact, but no response. Definitely not the service you would expect from a company like Volkswagon and very disappointing at the same time. Will weigh extremely heavy on future business."
"Terrible service. I had a 9am appointment and was told it would take a couple of hours. A couple of hours turned into 6.5 hours! They took all of the people who said they were waiting first even though their appointments were later. They first touched my car at 1pm. I know this because an app on my phone tells me when my car doors/hood/windows/trunk are open. I called to check on the status of my car and they said they would check and call me back. The employee Melissa was sweet and tried to be very helpful but clearly this wasn’t anything she had control over. When my car finally was finished, I asked if they found the cause of the oil leak and they said they didn’t find anything wrong. The next morning, the fresh piece of cardboard I put under my car in my garage was wet with leaking oil. Clearly no one checked this out as I requested. Furthermore, I have a dash cam and it was purposely unplugged so as to not record anything. Why are they touching the stuff in my car? Lastly, I called to speak to the manager of the service department the next day. And guess what? No call back. I’m highly dissatisfied."
"Going to this dealership was an absolute nightmare. Marc the assistant service manager was not transparent with the price of parts AT ALL. When I asked for a break down he said “I can try” so I moved on to the upper management, Kathy, who said that she would try to match the quote of my local dealership. When I emailed the quote she never replied. Instead, Marc called me back and told me that they couldn’t match the price quote which was double the price than the other dealership had quoted. My car was just sitting in their lot for a week straight. I made the decision to finally have my car towed to a better shop and when the tow truck arrived, he called me and asked for my credit card information because they didn’t have the balls to call me. They charged me $218 just to give the guy my keys. This was the “diagnostic fee.” When I had the car finally towed to another shop, the Volkswagen mechanic told them “good luck with the rust under the vehicle” but from what I was told, there was no rust whatsoever. When I had attempted to reach out to the manager Kathy, Everyone told me that she was sick and couldn’t speak but something lead me to believe that she was just avoiding me because no one was returning my calls all while my vehicle was sitting in their shop. Real scumbags working at the Volkswagen of Newton. These people are the definition of conmen. If you're not looking to get ripped off, I would highly recommend that you or your loved ones NEVER go to this dealership. They deserve to be investigated and run out of business for their poor business ethics and extortion-like behavior."
"I leased a new Jetta last week and the process could not have been better. The Salesperson Max and Finance Dept were helpful, honest and friendly. I lease a new car every 3 years and Volkswagen World of Newton was my best experience yet in a dealership. 5 star service!"
