"So I was in the Newton HD this am .. at the self checkout .. had trouble with my gift card.. hit the “ customer needs assistance “ button .. so the loudspeaker is announcing I need help … an employee walks by and says they need to put the gate up ? I said “ customer needs assistance “ She gave me some smart mouth and kept going .. I asked her name … she was 40 ish dark hair and glasses .. last time I was there I had a store credit card .. the girl at the register said it wasn’t in my name ? Went to customer service the woman said there wasn’t any $ on it $ ? Two people 2 different stories.. oh and if you go to Dover at least they have paper bags for small items like the handful of hardware I bought this morning… NOT in NEWTON .. don’t worry I won’t be back and I hope this woman’s supervisor see this I don’t need mouth from someone for nothing Have a good day !"

"I come to this specific locatIon several times a week, I find that they nearly always have what I need for my home projects & other miscellaneous projects I may be doing or an item very close to it that can do the job. Staff at this location is extremely helpful & friendly, almost bordering on too helpful, regardless their work ethic & communication skills are respectable. Great location, happy to call if my home store."

"This is my first complaint, but man this place is horrible. The workers on the floor have no idea what they are doing, they do not help, they just say I don’t know and think that’s an enough answer. They ordered the wrong color bullnose to match our tile, even the manager agreed when she looked at our order. I spoke with a manager Audrey, very sweet, the day of when I got my order via shipping. She Informed me a manager for sure will call me in the morning because there is nothing she can do since it is after 4pm. NO ONE CALLED ME the next day. I had to call, someone from the floor picked up. Tried to help. I explain to him if the order can be expedited. He told me there is no such thing, ( he really said that LOL). My fiancé called the next day, spoke with a manager in the morning, and she said it can. SO WHAT IS IT??? Yes or no!?? She informed me that they do have the product same manufacture and correct color but will call me for the pricing- SHE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. We called several times and they refuse to help despite THIS WAS THERE MISTAKE. I just moved to Newton Nj, and this is by far the worst experience we ever had at this Home Depot."
