"Disappointing lies - they are monsters like other credit companies. They lie for the applicants that their eligibility criteria doesn’t weigh up the credit score and history and same day approval decisions ate made in the branch. However, once got the goat in the trap hitting hard inquiries, then their decisions are based on credit score and history factors and mostly denying."

"This is the best branch of all of them. I hate to leave a 1 star review for this branch but I'm hoping to get someone's attention. Calling member services is a complete joke. I got a bunch of weird alerts on my phone from the banking app and called member services. After holding for a long time I got a rude guy who ended up putting me on hold. After holding again for a long time I was disconnected. I called back and got another rude guy after holding again. Not sure if it was the same guy or not. Both times the reps were very rude. The 2nd one immediately transferred me to the loan department. Of course that girl transferred me back to the main line. So what is a person to do who was worried about their account? Hope for the best I guess. Side note* There is also a girl that is beyond rude at the Chippewa location. I hope to goodness she is already fired. I stopped going to that location because of her. Ive talked about her to other multiple people in the past and they knew exactly who I was referring to so she has a mjor reputation. This Brentwood location is the best one and I've had great help there when I bought my car and needed to withdraw a large amount of $. Anway, I'm hoping a manager or someone who has some sense will call me."

"Vahida is a top quality branch assistant manager. She very patiently helped me work through a very tricky billpay/bill-direct & ebills issue: I was slightly frustrated with (not StlCCU but) BOA card, when I was able to sit down with Vahida. I had spent by then over 10 hours in 8 or 9 calls on the phone to my BOA credit card, all in trying to simply set up monthly statement ballance payments from my STLCCU account. She discovered an old address discrepency that was definitely helpful in the resolving process. Later another day I stoped by and was able to sit with her when I was close to the end of then 12 to 13 in total added hours on the phone with BOA! Fortunately she was a voice of sanity in helping me clarify banking terms when I kept getting differing definitions by BOA's customer service reps with every call."

"The location and people in the credit union are all really solid. I applied for a car loan, and they were very easy to work with. The only reason for it to be not 5 stars is the credit unions website is really, really bad. Difficult to use, limited options. Update: upon reviewing my first month, I have to downgrade my rating. I was told that disability and life insurance were included at no cost. I emphasized when signing up that I did not want to pay extra for them. I was charged on my first months loan, call in and find out there was a cost, it was just bundled into the loan. Those services certainly can be useful for people, but I would have really appreciated the option, as I did not have a need for those services. I went to a different branch and submitted to have them cancelled, so we will see if they fix it right away or not."
