"I wanted to share my own experience with Rindskopf-Roth after my grandmother passed away two months ago. I want this review to help someone making a deeply personal, emotional and important decision. I have a two-point preface; first, I admit I have little comparative insight into funeral homes generally -with their own ways. Second, for Jews like my grandmother who require certain rites and customs, “local” homes with experience are rare (not to mention the varied complexity of Jewish funerals from reform to orthodox). learned and witnessed at such a vast undertaking. Losing my grandmother after she lived an exciting, fulfilling and loving life of 91 years it’s not nearly as traumatic the loss others may endure. Also, my wise grandmother had prearranged everything; financial, legal, structure, etc. But I was of course hit very hard as I experienced one of the closest losses of my life. I cannot understate the unexpected peace I felt when I began to speak with those individuals caring for my grandmother. Rindskopf-Roth is a family business, and I was guided by one family member in particular -who also followed my grandmother’s instructions to the letter. Even though she had arranged everything, a few minor details, such as her final wardrobe were left to me. Unprepared and overwhelmed for the task, Rachel held my hand via speakerphone. She knew exactly what she was doing as I dealt with the new sadness recalling how she looked and how she dressed. Yet we attempted to imagine what she wanted while adhering to custom, proprietary and I suppose even fashion. Foe me, this was incredibly difficult. But I had true guidance. I had a very close relationship with my grandmother. She had an ability to understand people and things in a way that I cannot. She chose Rindskopf-Roth many years ago and I thank them for helping my family and for the love shown to my grandmother. -Dan"
"Being from out of town with no local support, Rachel at Rindskopf-Roth assisted us with all of the practical requirements around my mom's funeral and burial issues drawing on her compassion, experience and pragmatism. Her explanations, attention to detail and guidance allowed me to shift my attention from all of the necessities that come up when a loved one passes and instead tend to the changes and emotional needs facing myself and loved ones. Without her kind assistance this would have been a very different experience."
"Highly recommend!!! Craig, Rachel, and Candice were all very professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring. They were easy to communicate with both in person as well as through phone calls, texts and emails. They went above and beyond if we needed anything and made things easy at a difficult time. Prices were very fair as well. Can't say enough wonderful things about Rindskopf-Roth staff."
"Compassionate, professional, reasonable. They made one of life's most unhappy experiences as comfortable as possible. Craig is a real Mensch."
"Craig and Bob have been extremely helpful during our time of need for several family members. They provided a lot of information and helped guide us through making all of the arrangements from picking up our loved ones to even placing the obits in the papers. We have recommended them to several friends."
