"Continuous Dash Indicator Light Issue - 2018 CRV EX-L My 2018 Honda CR-V has had repeated issues of which one has been documented in car forums by numerous owners. I purchased an extended Honda Care Warranty in good faith that any problems encountered would be thoroughly rectified and resolved in totality. In 2020 my vehicle first experienced the present day majority issue! I was shocked to see my relatively new SUV with every indicator light flashing across the dash, literally sounding alerts as it pinged to make me aware. I took the car to my local dealer and was told that it was likely a computer error and a code was entered to reset the car. Within a year it happened again. In 2023 the Honda of Burleson dealership admitted my car and diagnosed that the cause for the dash indicator light problem, which had reemerged, was that I needed a new battery. I bought a battery a year prior, but purchased a battery from the dealership. It temporarily resolved the issue, within 15 days I returned with my vehicle because once again ALL indicator lights lit up the dash. At that time a series of repairs were recommended. Once these were performed the issue remained at bay for almost exactly 1 year. I reported that all indicators lights were flashing just prior to my most recent oil change at Vandergriff Honda. During service the car was inspected for code errors, there were none, and I purchased rear brakes. However, 2 days later all of the indicator lights flashed once more. I returned to the dealership where my car has been for the past 3 days. The service advisor recommends a reset of the maintenance minder, update PGM-FI and TCU software, replace the oil (again?), the A/C control unit, and to do a throttle position reset and PCM idle procedure. Additionally it is suggested that fuel injectors are all replaced, stating failure to do so will result in the check engine light coming on. My Honda Care Warranty ended in February of 2024 and it is currently April of 2024. I provided documentation of historic service issues related to the indicator lights flashing on the dash. Not to mention my A/C Unit has also gone out (which has documented repairs) twice in 2020, in 2021, and in 2022. Although documentation has been provided and the car has a history of this issue it is currently being determined whether Honda Care will honor the repairs. My service agent has been difficult to contact by phone, as I call with my case number to leave messages, rather than speak with the assigned agent, and there has been delayed communication via email. Vandergriff Honda service says that they are unable to do anything until Honda Care makes a decision or I decide to pay for the service. This is the fifth occurrence where my CRV has displayed an abundance (e.g.;all) indicator lights flaring as a hazard or caution, but different repairs are being suggested to offer repair. Due to this repetitive and noted occurrence I am asking that Honda Care honor the extended warranty in order to implement repairs. This is a documented problem on online forums and Honda should find a true resolution. If any of the previous repairs had truly resolved the problem I would not still encounter this issue today. I have purchased 3 cars from Honda of Burleson, and David McDavid Honda, a 2008 Honda Element, 2016 Honda HR-V, and a 2018 Honda CR-V. This experience has been extremely distressing as I am a single mother of one and a teacher who depends on the reliability of my sole source of transportation. Honda should do right by its long standing customers. I can't imagine purchasing another if this situation is not rectified. Best, Nikeya Clayton"

"Honda won't stand behind a motor just few hundred miles out of warranty. 70K miles and I am rebuilding the engine. Will never buy another Honda again. Apparently Kia and these other manufacturers who warranty to 100k miles makes better vehicles, otherwise Honda would stand behind their products. The fact that they don't stand behind their products is enough of a reason for me to become a Subaru owner."
"My drop and hook delivery appointment was for 01/12/22 @ 900 AM. Receiving closes at 330 PM. I called on 01/11/22 @ 100 PM. Told him I could be there at 400PM. He said come on in, I'll have security sign your bills. Made my day! It never hurts to call in advance. GB everyone."
