"They give you a fake email to cancel and then it gets rejected and the manager is never there so they just keep putting you off. Finally just had to cancel the card to get the subscription cancelled."

"AVOID THIS CARWASH AT ALL COSTS!! I was not going to review and explain my experience with this place, but after being completely ghosted by management, I would like to warn everyone about this establishment! On 12/20/23 I went through Clean Getaway Carwash in my 2018 VW Atlas. As I approached the end of the wash, I realized the automatic roll up door was not activating and my car was still positioned on the floor rollers, pushing me forward. Unfortunately, I had no control of the situation, and my car was pushed into the door. The door finally began lifting, causing it to scrape the front and top of my hood leaving significant and visible scratching on the surface. I called the carwash once I got home and could assess the damage. I was told I needed to speak with the manager, Conner about the situation. I met Conner the next day to show him the damage and explain what had happened. HE ADMITTED TO HAVING KNOWLEDGE OF THE DOOR ISSUE and said they were having a hard time contacting the door manufacturer to fix it. His “expert” advice to me was to allow him to buff the scratches out, lol. I explained I wanted a professional to look at it, which he then told me I needed to provide them with 2 estimates in order for them to take care of the damage. I emailed the estimates, which he acknowledged receiving and said he would forward to the owners. Can you guess what happens next? GHOSTED. No further responses from “manager” or “owner”. I had to submit a claim to my insurance and pay my deductible and they, to this date, have not been able to reach Conner or anyone else at Clean Getaway to resolve the issue. Clearly the management and ownership are complete jokes and must be underinsured (if insured at all) if they cannot resolve a claim that they admitted was their fault. So again, do yourself a favor and save yourself from the frustration of dealing with this shady and pathetic business. We just set up monthly plans for all 3 of our vehicles at Tidal Wave Auto Spa (next to Freddy’s) and couldn’t believe the difference in quality! They have new, state of the art equipment, competent employees, amazingly powerful vacuums, air compressors for residual water, rags and glass cleaner! 1,000,000x’s better than Clean Getaway! Disclaimer: I am a business owner myself and would never give a bad review to another business unless it was ABSOLUTELY warranted."

"Went to car wash 1/31/24. Was sold the special for $10. I almost ran into the truck infront of me, I got home 20 miles away, and my car didn't even look clean. There was still mud on hatch, the blowers did nothing to dry the car. Very dissatisfied"

"I just went to Clean Getaway off of the Northwest Arterial to get my car washed. As I was going through, I noticed that the spot free rinse didn't come on until after my car passed it and then the tire shine didn't work either, so I pulled around and went in and spoke with the manager and I told him that the spot free rinse didn't work and also the tire shine didn't work either. His response to me was, yes I know that the spot free isn't working correctly and that he had a call into the owners about it and then I also told him that the tire shine didn't work either and his response to me about that was, oh yeah, someone ran over the tire shine stuff and broke it. I said we'll I just paid full price for my car to get washed and in the end it wasn't done right. Now you would think that a decent manager would offer a discount on the wash or give you a coupon for a free wash or give you a refund, but he never offered a thing! Then to top it off, I pulled up into the vacuum stall to vacuum and the first stall that I pulled into the vacuums were not working on either side, so I had to move to another stall. I got out of the car and vacuumed the drivers side and then went to grab the vacuum hose for the passenger side and that was not working, so once again I had to move to yet another stall to vacuum the passenger side of my car. I really don't know what the heck is going on there, but I DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE RETURNING!! There's plenty of other car washes in the area like Tidal Wave which is just down the road, so from now on that's where I'm going to be taking my vehicles to have them washed!!"

"Edit for an update: they contacted me and fixed everything and were very kind. The wash itself is very thorough. I do wish there were towels to dry with at the end of someone to towel dry like the people who spray at the beginning. Otherwise, I really like the quality of the service and recommend it to my friends The wash impressed me at first and I thought the price was good for a monthly deal. But then I cancelled at the end of the month and it still charged my card. Tried calling, no one answered. Went in person and the employees seemed confused and didn't know how to refund my card. It listed my plan as cancelled but still charged me. They said the boss would call me but I never heard from the boss so now I'm out $40 for nothing! The wash itself was really great and I'm sad this happened because it used to be my favorite wash but now I will probably never go back, since it basically stole my money."
