"Wanted to buy a rolling tool chest cause I was cleaning the garage. You have to pay for it then wait a month for it to be shipped to the store. They don't tell you that you can't cancel your order until the item arrives at the store. So if the item isn't at the store I wouldn't suggest purchasing it. My opinion anyway."

"Increasingly disappointed with Harbor Freight prices and service. What was once a go-to place to buy tools and supplies is no longer. They are no longer price competitive, in my view. Also, it's very strange how adamant their cashiers are at trying to get your phone number. Everytime, there is a back and forth debate about why they need it....Off putting....If I say "no", it means "no", No need to try to educate me on the wonderful benefits. For example, I had one cashier go on and on about why they needed the number and she finally and snidely told me that I was affecting her bonus. Almost walked out at that point.... Another cashier wouldn't honor a coupon because I did not provide a phone number, despite the fact that the coupon was valid and matching the sku numbers on the product packaging! Your business process and incentive scheme is broken when your employees so aggressively try to collect customer personal data that the customer moves on and spends their money elsewhere."

"An uncomfortable experience. I witnessed what I believe was the store's manager yelling at one of his employees asking for assistance in front of a multitude of customers. Very unprofessional and unbecoming of a manager. And their insistence on collecting your phone number and email for their system is annoying. It's separate from their membership program, so who exactly does it benefit to have a number and email on record? I also feel bad for the cashiers who are clearly reading from a script. Do they not trust their workers enough to be able to convey information in a casual manner? If I wanted a robot to ring me up, I would go to a place with a self-checkout. Overall, it was just a terrible shopping experience. I will go out of my way to never step foot in there again."
