"It's well worth a visit to Salem's Pioneer Village! It's relatively small, but the houses - both their exterior and interior - offer a neat insight into the area's history. There's educational information available, and it's set out really well. It also features a filming location from Hocus Pocus for fans! All this for just $5! It's not too difficult to walk from downtown or there's parking available next to it."
"Awesome little history gem right off the park, just behind the little league field. Walk through the gates and you immediately feel like the modern world is miles away. There are several buildings and garden areas with foot paths between them."
"Loved that we could walk at our own leisure. Definitely worth the $5. Nice area. 10/10. Go check it out"
"It is a little small, but great! There are some buildings that are available to walk in. The staff is friendly. I recommend bringing cash for the entrance"
"It's pretty cool what I could see of it. Seems odd to close for light rain when it is so rarely open. I was looking forward to touring the place. Check the website day of if it is the least bit rainy before you go. Unfortunately, this was the only weekend day I was in the state, and I really wanted to see this."
