"Spectacular scenery. Crew were great but would have liked more history. Perhaps we couldn’t hear due to boat and group size. Bring warm clothes- they have blankets but not enough! It gets cold at sunset ! But all in all, a gorgeous boat experience and a must do! Absolutely favorite part of my trip to Boston"
"Beautiful experience! We did the sunset tour, which I highly recommend! The staff/ crew were so welcoming and informative. They went out of their way to remind us of our tour and welcomed us upon our arrival. Our captain shared the history of the Fame with a touch of humor that made it so fun to learn about! The crew checked on us throughout asking if we needed a blanket or refreshments. Highly recommend!"
"My group had a great time on our tour and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Salem! Due to bad weather, they were able to reschedule our tour to another time with no issue. We especially enjoyed getting the opportunity to raise the sails and steer the ship. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. There were snacks and drinks that could be purchased during the tour, which was about an hour and a half. Would definitely recommend!"
"Excellent Day! The weather was perfect. The ship was extremely well maintained and not too crowded. The captain has excellent people skills and the crew reflected that also. It was great to see so many schooners under sail."
"We made the trip from NH. This was a gift for fathers day and so glad we held out for a beautiful day. We couldn't have asked for a better day. All the staff starting with the ticket booth to the Captain and deck mates were great! Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There were no sales pressure to purchase on boat drinks etc. There was plenty of room in the boat, did not feel crowded at all and there were at least 15 patrons on the boat. I brought a seat cushion for my bad back and I suggest anyone with an issue sitting on hard surfaces do the same thing. If you have a difficult time walking you may want to bring a cane to help getting down the dock ramp and getting on the boat. There is a steep step to get on the boat which the captain and mates assist you with but be prepared if you have an issue with big steps. The boat wasn't loud when the engine was running and was quiet with the sails. There is a cannon blast with historical information which my son lived and got to participate in. It is very loud so id suggest bringing ear protection if you bring kids or have sensory concerns. Overall we had a great time and have already recommended to others!!"
