"I have had so many issues w masshire. Initially the person I was supposed talk to told me to keep my kids quiet on the phone, when I said they are all on the spectrum and can not and will not be quiet I was told that I am making excuses for them and we will never get anywhere bc I make excuses for my 3 autistic toddlers. When I was given another person, she called me once and any time I had an appointment after that she would reschedule or just not be there at all. What's baffling to me is that to get any kind of help you are forced to go through mass hire which I now refuse to do."
"I went there for work club and Eilean and Ray were the most helpful and supportive ones . I recommend these two if your having trouble or need to stay grounded."
"Well, I can’t speak to the other reviews, but I can say that I had an amazing experience with them today. I emailed the executive director with a question and got a very friendly response within 10 minutes. That was followed up by a call from another person in the office who helped me further, and she followed up that call with a friendly email explaining next steps and directly copying others who can assist. I then got a call from another agent who was able to assist me with a separate issue related to my claim, which is now back on track due to their diligence and follow through. Thank you all for being so helpful!!!"
"Waited an hour to see a woman to get my resume looked at. She looked at it for maybe 10 seconds. Then suggested I make an appointment to see someone else. She tried to get me an appointment with this other person, but it was taking so long that I had to leave. I wasted 90 min for Nothing!!’ I called and left a message explaining that I left. The counselor did make an attempt to call me. But by then The Woburn office had set me to meet with someone."
"This was one of the more unpleasant experiences I've had in recent memory. I found the people who worked there were rude, to the point of belittling, and didn't seem to be capable of understanding my field, my prior occupation, or the reality of a modern job search (that most digital occupations are listed on-line, often through Craig's List and other employment search engines). The lack of such knowledge in such a place, particularly in the 21st century, is beyond troubling. What was worse: having every one of my questions responded to in a way that was a pointed attempt to make me feel stupid (because I was genuinely astonished by their confusion, and what appear to be some obvious flaws with their system). All in all, I have to say I left feeling shocked, insulted, and as though their system mattered more to them than actually helping anyone find work. If you're on the North Shore and can go somewhere else I recommend you do so."
