R & T Roofing and Remodeling

"WARNING !!! WARNING!!! WARNING !!!WARNING !!! On July 8th I hired R&T Roofing to replace the roof on my home and garage. They came and did the work…that day I was suffering with kidney stones so I was unable to fully check on their work. When they were done I immediately paid Bob the owner a check and total payment was $13,599.00. When he left I noticed on the peak of my house roof there is a small piece of clear plastic sticking out,and garage ridge vent that was on the original roof was not installed on the new roof and the front porch they cracked my cedar siding and just did a terrible job with the flashing as shown in the picture. I included before and after pictures ….before is the black roof …check out how perfect the flashing line is …and the after picture is the grey roof with the flashing job that looks like a 12 year old did it…I contacted Bob and he came back to look. He said he would be back first thing in the morning. I waited all day he never showed up. I contacted him again and again he said he would be there first thing in the morning. I waited all day and he never showed. I contacted him again and he promised to show again first thing in the morning. I waited all day he never showed. Now I texted him and told him now that he has my money he just is not going to show up. He got very insulted and said it would be fixed by the end of the week. It has now been over a month of no show. If this is the type of person you want to hire so be it …he will not come back once he has your money … beware !!!! Now I will have to pay someone who knows what he’s doing to fix his screw up !!!!! Be SURE to check the Better Business Bureau report on this company before hiring !!!!!!!!!!!!"

This stood out to me almost immediately when Bob got up on our roofs to give me a quote. In fact, without even me asking him, he told me that part of our roof had been replaced a lot more recently and he would hold off on it if he were in my shoes. However, this certainly won't be the last time we use them as I have learned they do a wide variety of other home improvement projects."

They had to replace some of our slate roof to add flashing. I watched the guy doing the slate go through a whole pile of new slate to find some that matched the existing slate, it looks great good match. The crew also cleaned up very well when they finished"
