"We’ve ordered a cake from Mia’s 3 times now & have been so pleased each time!! Blackout is our favorite. it’s always so moist and delicious. our new go to bakery!"
"I've been to the location in Chestnut Hill several times and loved it. The Hingham location does not live up to the reputation. The offerings were more limited, "grocery store-level" quality as another reviewer put it, and I was ultimately given the wrong items despite being the only one in the store. Won't be back. Do better."
"I visited this bakery today for the first time. The items looked appealing but I purchased a slice of vanilla cake for my initial taste. Unfortunately, there was very, very little cake included, for $8. I couldn't eat a plate of icing so the item was discarded and I won't visit again. Awful!"
"I got cake’s yesterday, one red velvet and one blackout cake. The Red velvet tasted old and moldy. When I checked the cake I noticed it had mold all over it. And the blackout cake tasted like perfume or something like that. When I told them and showed them the pictures I took with their cake that had mold, Ron the manager just asked me “So what do you want?” Didn’t even apologize that they sold moldy cakes. Very rude manager!!"
"Overcooked. Overpriced. Empty. We walked in and the cases were empty and messy. I figured they’d be full… since it’s morning. Which means they don’t make things in-house and they did not prep for the day. I asked if they bake daily and was told they ship everything from NY but they make the pastries day of. I highly doubt that’s true based on the look of everything. I’m shocked at how bad this is. I was really looking forward to this opening, but I do not see it lasting at all. Cinnamon roll is inedible. It was hard as a rock and overcooked. The cake is dry. We had to ask what kind of cakes and pastries were because their little signs were knocked over or covered up. What a waste of a location. This isn’t worth a try honestly. I’m appalled at how much I paid for such bad quality. I almost turned around when I saw the appearance of everything and I wish I did."
