"This is an old school diner that has a good vibe, decent service, and very good food. This is not where you bring your future in-laws to impress them. It's where you go when you're looking to hang out and get a good meal in a local spot. The brisket grilled cheese was excellent. The clam chowder was fabulous. The bacon tater tots were good, but as expected, gluttonous."
"Came here first for breakfast and then for Tuesday night trivia (currently paused for the summer) and had a great time! Will definitely be going back but so far I can recommend the Turkey burger, baked Mac and cheese, fish tacos, fish and chips, tuna sandwich, pancakes, and home fries. Everyone gave the food an A+. Service was decent. Our waitress knew nothing about the drink menu but was able to go ask the bartender."
"A+ Easy yes. Fish tacos - the fish was remarkably light despite being deep fried. The cabbage at the bottom of the taco made the perfect bed for the floating fried goodness Brisket bbq grilled cheese w/tater tots - so good. Tots were a wow. Service was friendly and fast. Wish I lived nearby!"
"Visited Stars on Hingham while working an assignment in Hingham township. Max & Syed ordered the clam strips. I had fish tacos and Silvia ordered the crusted haddock. The bacon tater tots was our appetizer. Tuesday night is trivia night for added fun. Nice place and atmosphere but not exactly on the water ,rather right across from the Harbor so it does not have the best view."
"The food was really good. The staff was really friendly. The wait can be a bit. They told us 35 minutes and it was about 20 minutes. A big negative for me is a large bar. It is really sad to see so many people drinking before noon and some were already drunk. The wife had pancakes. They taisted good, but were slightly doughy. I had the ham and cheese burrito. It was really good. The potatoes were really good. Very crispy and tasty. The place was clean. It is very crowded. The have really tried to put in as many tables as possible. Parking is pretty limited. It is a little pricey but I think it is worth it for the quality of food."
