"Oceanside parking enforcement DOESN'T apply the law evenly, every Sunday i see cars parked on a NO PARKING ZONE blocking fire hydrant big trucks sticking out to the street blocking the visibility for drivers,i think all this casr are part of a church,,one time i was driving by on my way home and one of this cars was pulling out of the no parking zone, almost got hit,i have made a few reports about this problem but no luck,i bet if i park my car for 5min i will get a ticket on the same spot,, what a shame"
"This agency is effective at profiting off of local residents for their own systems not working and/or being poorly designed. They punish paying resident beach pass holders for their website not working properly to update car information. I've updated my license plate in their system 3 times now and have received 2 tickets when the system reverts my registration to the old license plate number. Appeals are always denied and the justification each time makes it clear the adjudicator didn't read or understand the reason for the appeal. Then they have designed street cleaning to be from 6-9am and 9am-12 on the same day for the two sides of the street throughout entire neighborhoods - another creative way to rack up parking fines and punish local residents. Every city in the country is kind enough to clean different sides on different days so entire neighborhoods don't have to plan their days around moving cars promptly at 9am."
"The vista clone of metered parking wars sundown ticket paper cut seagull hawking throwdown. The meters are good though. Helps fuel the economic war against. Fried vehicle circutry."
"Welcome To Oceanside! pfffft .... this is just another p.o.s. 'poor tax' driven way to keep another few more lackeys "employed" ... the audacity to force public into a fee of this amount for street sweeping parking violations is ridiculous. Good job making what could have been a friendship into something much different."
