"Food was delicious. We started with the queso and chips - so good. Had the 3 meat platter that included sides. Brisket was moist and tender, turkey had a good Smokey flavor, and the pulled pork was good. We also had the 1/2 rack of ribs which were our favorite. The sides were Mac n cheese-super creamy and cheesy, roasted veggies-yum, potato salad-yum and the beans-yum. 10/10 in my opinion."

"Great service from the moment walking in until we left. Great BBQ, the brisket burger was amazing. Also the dry rub wings, wow delicious. Definite place to revisit to work through all the menu options. Parking out back is pretty big. But also room on the side street as well. Easy to find right on the corner of Vista, straight shot off the 78 and 5. *Update... few weeks later: Back in for another round of food. Same amazing service and food. Same server as last time, Adam who is fantastic. Tried a couple of his recommendations ... on point. It's the people that make the difference, so ask for Adam when you go."

"I love IPAs and BBQ. This place is very cool - got a great vibe - everyone working there was chill. BBQ was legit - Beer was excellent. If you haven't been, put it on your list! We'll def be back - were local, but if your visiting from out of town this is a great place to start before exploring the Oceanside pier and strand!"

"100%Exceptional Customer Service, from warm welcome, to immediate water, to multiple beer tastings and recommendations, to fast food service, etc. perfect! Large venue with inside or outside seating. Interesting beer choices. I can’t say amazing beers, but good beer. We are really spoiled with the variety of craft beers in north county - very very tough competition. BBQ was really good. Generous portions that spilled over the plate! I tried the Carolina pulled pork sandwich, hubby the chopped brisket. Both were very good. Carolina pulled pork had yummy mustard sauce, pickles and slaw all inside. Bbq sauce was flavorful without overpowering the smokey meats. Hubby said brisket was perfectly done, tender and juicy. Sauce and flavors balanced to complement the perfect meat. Light toasty fluffy potato buns were yummy too. In my opinion, my side of slaw was the real winner and standout of the entire meal. Crisp fresh veg, light dressing with bright and balanced flavors (not heavily creamy, nor over vinegary), not over salted either. The slaw surprise was fresh cilantro! A real winner in flavor combos to add a SoCal flare! Fresh and delicious. I settled on the English Ale (Big Buck Brown) after a few tastings. Malty and smooth, beautiful clear color. A winner. If you’re over on the coast give Heritage a try!"

"So we ordered to go, here what we got Trip tip, pulled bbq, brisket and ribs. They were all pretty good and we were given plenty of bbq sauce. For sides we got Texas chili, mac n cheese, el rancho patato salad (it was delicious my favorite side) and pickled veggies. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of all the sides. We also got a dozen of handmade tortillas and they were delicious I would definitely recommend."
