"Wonderful place along the pier to see sea lions. They have a floating dock just for them as well as they climb up on the docks to soak in the sun."

"So much fun to see the sea lions basking in the sun. They are very smelly, but very entertaining. Many spots to sit and watch and they are so close to the shore."

"LOL! This is not an island. It is an old concrete dock with a white beacon light on it, that provides sunning space for the sea lions. They are loud and smelly, but they are cool to see up close, while in realitive safety. Unfortunately, no one told the sea lions that that is where they are to hang out. They still climb on to the public docks blocking access to the boats and while they appear cute and cuddly, these are 1000 pound animals that could kill you. Oh, and they don't sleep at night like the rest of us, so if you are staying at the public docks - bring some earplugs for sleeping."
