"We have had four experiences with Tranquil Transitions. All have been excellent. In our latest, they moved us from our 3500 square foot home to our new retirement villa home. We loved the way they wrapped our furniture so the furniture did not get damaged. They packed our other belongings in plastic tubs which again prevented damage. "The move was overwhelming. The more we planned the more we had to plan. The more we shipped, the more we were inundated on arrival with many, many boxes to unload and put away the contents. Fortunately, we heard about Tranquil Transitions, Inc, and we engaged that company to help us. They were terrific! "Donna and her team made this move one filled with assurance! I could not have accomplished this much, this fast without their assistance. Mom had to move into assisted living and downsize from 1300 sq ft to under 500 sq ft. The challenge of envisioning her belongings in the new space was met with a process that took away the uncertainty. The help Donna's team gave as we were selecting the 'must have' items was so helpful - pain reducing - nobody wants to let go of the memories and things of their lifetime. Then, they came and whisked away the must haves and set them up in the new space - it was like a HGTV moment when mom went into the new apartment! Emotions were high! After the main move, Donna's team provided more white glove service to help me clean out the old apartment. We agreed on groupings of belongings to go to various places. I moved things into those groups and marked them with sticky notes - and Donna's team shipped them for us - furniture, memories, art, silver and other family treasures! Those items earmarked for donation were handled by Donna's team. Finally, Donna and her husband personally delivered those things that were designated to me - halfway across the country - on schedule! I couldn't have asked for more! "Donna and her team have a tough job. They meet families during some of the toughest points of their lives and our families' was no different. When my father got sick suddenly, I flew to town to help with whatever I could. When it became clear that my parents would be best off in an assisted living facility, I was left scrambling to try and get them moved before I had to go back home. After touring and finding a facility in 2 days, I contacted Tranquil Transitions on a Tuesday. Donna called back later that day and we scheduled a consultation for that Friday then the pack and move days for the following Tuesday and Wednesday.
