"Dr. Shafer is very knowledgeable and thorough. She took her time and explaining every detail of every exam and her bedside manner is incredible. Robert helped me pick out a pair of glasses. He was fully knowledgeable of the types of lenses and his customer service is beyond what I was expecting. "I went in for a general eye exam and selected this location due to vision insurance coverage and proximity to my home. The storefront has a nice, clean appearance at the Domain. When I walked in there were 2 employees in the front, 1 was with a customer and the other, a female with a harsh bleached hair job, was standing at the rear register. I walked up and waited for her to greet me. Surprisingly she glanced my way, looked back down and continued focused on the register without acknowledging me. I patiently waited and continued to wait and then after several minutes standing in front of her with nothing from her I decided to leave. Just at that moment she finally asked if she could help me. She had a very rude tone and definitely did not make me feel welcome or like she cared to help me. I explained I had a scheduled appointment and she proceeded to process my check-in and led me to the examination area. The optometric technician Jerrel performed the initial screening and was very polite and friendly and my experience began to improve. I was then seen by the Dr. Ibrahim who was also very professional and friendly and did the final tests and exam and clearly explained his findings. Unfortunately, the positive aspects of my visit were overshadowed again, by further negative interactions with the same receptionist. Her continued rudeness and lack of customer service skills were evident in our closing interaction and her handling of my charges and prescriptions. Notably, my prescriptions and receipts, which were promised via email, were never sent. The receptionist confirmed she was sending a copy of my receipt as well as the eyeglass and contact prescription. That evening when I checked my email, there was nothing from Optique. The next morning, again nothing. I called the number on the website at 9:26am and 9:50am and there was no answer even though the website indicates they were open at 9:00am. A follow-up visit was required to rectify this oversight. I ended up having to drive back to the shop, and request a copy of my Rx in person. The same receptionist was not working and a Robert politely assisted me. After checking the records, he confirmed that the receptionist had never sent me my receipt of Rx. The lack of basic customer service and follow-through from the receptionist has dissuaded me from returning to this location. While the clinical staff was exceptional, the overall experience was marred by the poor reception and administrative follow-up."

Upon arrival, there was no wait time, and I was promptly admitted and guided through each step of the exam, with thorough explanations provided along the way. The optometrist was not only friendly but also incredibly thorough, ensuring a comprehensive and pleasant experience."
