"As I write this review it’s been 3 weeks since I met with Greg regarding a new build. He was very nice. We discussed one of the floor plans I liked and even made revisions to it. I have yet to receive anything from Greg. Not a phone call or email to follow up on what we discussed. This contractor was one I had considered from a few others I had met with but now I can cross him off of my list. In response to GCLS’s response: No, the other builder I am working with is not charging me for any up front fees. And although the person drafting the plan for GCLS may be taking almost 3 weeks (since I did meet with Greg 2 weeks and 6 days ago), there should have been some form of communication to follow up on our meeting or to at least let me know we are approaching 3 weeks since our meeting (only 1 day shy of 3 weeks) and that the floor plan would be ready soon. That would have made me feel, as a future customer, that you are interested in my business."

"GCLS really surprised us during our home construction process. First, the process took less than a year, from clearing the lot to home delivery. Since this is a custom built approach, we got to decide how the floorplan and home would look. They also gave us a variety of options on the materials, whether we wanted planks or tiled floors or choosing the kitchen top type we always had the decision, all within the build price, which by the way, was done with high quality, attention to detail and professionalism. While the home was built, we always had the chance to see its progress and everything was communicated promptly. They even did their best effort to accommodate last minute requests, and for all that, I am very grateful. We must consider that building a home is not like buying a car or building a shed, this is very complex (I'm sorry if I drove you all nuts ✌️). Now, when service was needed, they responded quickly by addressing any situation for good within the same visit. I would always recommend GCLS as a great option to build new or remodel homes."

"I am so very pleased with my new construction home, built by GCLS Contracting, Inc. I have never owned a home and you'd think that building one from the ground up for someone like myself, might have been scary or confusing. Let me just say that I had the most awesome experience with everyone involved. First, when I met Greg and Sharony they were very patient with me and explained the process in great detail. Greg is very passionate about what he does and I saw that passion throughout. He shared with me that he doesn't build houses, instead, he builds homes. There is a difference with the end product, when that's the philosophy. Sharony was mostly in the background dealing with my lender and the financial end of things. She happily explained the "nuts and bolts" of the build from a business point of view. Mark was the project manner for my home. He kept everything on schedule and made sure the skilled laborers were on point. My take home message from Mark was that he wanted every aspect of the build to be exceptional and he wanted me to be happy. I had access to the build site and all of the laborers were professional, polite, skilled and they cleaned up after themselves. Tiffany handled the materials end of the build. Her email introduction spelled out the exact timeframe of when I'd be making selections. For this reason, I was able to windowshop and be prepared. She really kept me on track and had a schedule in place for me to choose everything...roof shingles, flooring, paint, lighting, doors, hardware, cabinets, etc. Linda, the receptionist always answered the phone as if she'd known me forever. A great gatekeeper is an indication of what's behind the gate. I need to add that I live over an hour away from where my home was built and during half of fhe construction, half of it recovering from surgery. They kept me informed, sent pictures, etc. Trust, integrity, professionalism and respect was ever present between us. In closing, if you want a new home, call GCLS Contracting, Inc. I chose their base model and they treated me as if I was building a mansion. They respected my vision and my needs and for that reason, my pup and I have a great, cozy place to call home.
