"7.31 24..Elevator service out at the Largo storage facility on Walsingam Rd.for 3 weeks. Which created a challenge For customers on the second floor to get belongings in and out. Poor signage didn't Didn't direct any one to where the stairs were located?And there is a safety issue on the 1st floor in the stairwell.Behind the stairwell, which is an area or dead space.That's large enough for someone to be hide. There is no mirror there that allows you to see what could be behind.That space , which would address the safety issue. I. Went to the office on sunday afternoon before Closing time but the door was locked and no one was there. I call customer service and left a message for a district manager to call but nobody ever called today is now thursday.. The elevator was fixed.I was told it was struck by lightning and that u haul is not offering any service credit or retention incentive. The customer service response was that the barony because the building was hit by lightning and that as a customer.I'm not paying for the elevator. Perhaps she didn't realize she was on a recorded line.She's correct , if not paying for the elevator But I am paying access to To my belongings And a three week extended delay would be unacceptable Because. Of their inability to locate a vendor to come in repair it. No, they're not responsible for acts of nature.They're responsible for acting like they care and they clearly do not ..."
"I do not recommend this U-Haul location! They told the driver to drop my U-Box on the other side of the parking lot after drawing a picture showing its desired location next to my unit. Prepare to be disappointed with their customer service, as they seem to have no idea what they are doing. Save yourself the hassle and find a more competent facility."
"I was a little disappointed when they clearly tacked on 10 miles to my bill. I know exactly how far I drove but they claimed I drove ten miles further. And this after giving the manager a bottle of ibuprofen.I had in my car cause.He was complaining about sore muscles from a bike tour. oh well, kindness doesn't always pay back."
"Upon picking up my rental truck I was told the last renter did not fill it up all the way and I was receiving it at 1/4 tank and I would have to return at a quarter tank. Once I started the truck, it was on Empty below an 1/8. I went back in to get the rep out, she stated that trucks are never given out at what it needs to be returned at. Despite what clearly states on the contract and within the truck on the gas gauge sticker. I needed the truck for a move that day and didn’t have time to deal with a neglegent I haul rep. Truck was returned at 1/4 so the next renter didn’t have to deal with this issue. Overall I’ve had to rent Uhaul trucks for years and never had this issue. This location doesn’t honor typical Uhaul policies. I get gas prices out soaring these days, but it’s always been the corporate Uhaul policy to return the truck with the same fuel you got it. Not expect you costumers to fill it up for you on their dime."
