Reviews of John R. Bonner Nature Park
"Nice little park. Boardwalk is fine all the way to the observation deck at the end. Some little crabs along the way. Nice set of bat houses, although the sign about bats could be updated. Nice walking trail."
"Great place for us to take the kids. It has a very nice boardwalk over looking the intercoastal waterway with a lot of fiddler crab, jumping mullets and osprey just to name a few of the animals you can find there! Go relax and let the kids run."
"Nice, small park. Clean. Playground and boardwalk. Great foliage!"
"This park is off the beaten path. It is located in a neighborhood. Unfortunately, this park does not offer much. The walking path has a lot of broken sidewalk. If you decide to walk here, please be careful. If you use walker or wheelchair, I would not utilize the walking path. There are signs stating, no dogs allowed on the trail. There is a bridge that leads to a beautiful area that over looks the water. The bridge is safer to walk on. There are no broken slats. There are covered areas to enjoy, along with grills to use. There is a small playground (see picture). There are restrooms available by the playground. There is a large covered area to enjoy as well. Great for functions. One of pluses about this park is the tranquility. It is very peaceful. That I enjoyed very much."
"This park is a hidden gem. Never packed and perfect getaway for some nature. Has a boardwalk and trails. Perfect spot for a kids birthday party. Also has bathrooms and shelter available. - Realtor Caleb Lane | Serving Largo Better | Southern Life Realty"
