"Absolutely love coming to this park with and without my kiddos. They have a great playground with restrooms nearby. Behind the playground is the perfect tree for your kids to climb on :) There are benches throughout the park with many trails surrounding the large pond with mini walking bridges and lookout points. This park also has a dog park and plenty of feild space to play."
"Very cool scenery! I was greeted by an alligator, he kept his eye on me and kept swimming alongside of where I was walking. I was a little spooked but it was exciting."
"Eagle Lake Park in Largo, Florida, is a serene and picturesque lake that offers a variety of recreational opportunities for visitors. Located in the heart of Pinellas County, this park spans approximately 163 acres, providing a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of urban. Notice a separate dog park for large dogs and one for small dogs. Even has a walk just for dogs."
"It was my first time exploring this park yesterday. If you feel like you need an escape from the city this park despite its location, will have you feeling lost in the woods. Literally. If you aren't afraid of taking a walk off the trails, you can immerse yourself in some beautiful landscape. DEFINITELY gave me the Forrest in the movie Twilight."
"Love this park mostly for walking or biking the trails. There are a few non paved walking trails on the back side which is great if you’d like not to run into anyone. The dog park is nice but it’s mostly dirt expect the small dog pen. So expect to get dirty. They have 3 pens, small, medium and large. I prefer talking the dogs walking throughout the park. There are a few lakes and sometimes you can see alligators and they have very nice look out points on the lakes."
