"I moved so it's not close anymore. I miss some of the people. Very nice there."
"This is a great place great establishment. They have the local food pantry services they provide on Tuesdays and Fridays of every week. Also sometime a couple weeks ago i believe it was a wednesday or thursday they were giving free slices of pizza away. They also used to have a group ran here upstairs on Fridays from 11an to 12pm ran by Community Health Action of Staten Island (CHASI) but im not sure if they still hold/host the group at this location . although it would be a fantastic service to this community especially if they did"
"Absolutely amazing place with amazing individuals running it. They have people head out doing volunteer work in the St George community on Monday evenings, around 615pm sometimes around 7pm, they park in between the Richmond hotel and project hospitality and hand out brown bag dinners, in these brutal cold winter months, when they can, when resources allot, they hand out socks, shaving utilities, shampoos, deodorants, soaps, other shower utilities, blankets, jackets, gloves, hand and foot warmers. On cold nights they've served hot chocolate. That's not all, on Tuesdays and Fridays they have a food pantry around 11am, and on Fridays In connection with Community Health Action of Staten Island, upstairs, on location, from 11am to 12pm they hold a Harm Reduction group, which is a mixture most weeks of addicts both in recovery, and still sick and suffering, to help them with safer practices to provide them resources to partake in less risk for themselves, their health, and the community as a whole. Amazing group of people here."
"They do a food bank for the community, and often have yard sales. I've seen them store food where vermin and insects could easily invade packaging. Also cold potato salad in the sun, so I would just check any food I received thoroughly. They do a lot for the community, I just wish the grounds were cleaner."
