"I always get off at this stop for grocery shopping at Shoprite or Stop and Shop. They are starting to improve this station by adding an elevator for the wheelchair people. Also the pawn shop is not far away and very convenient. S76 bus is right across the street and this neighborhood is great area."
"Good bustling town. It’s one of the busiest parts of Staten Island with everything from small businesses to large department stores & supermarkets. There are parts of New Dorp that are residential areas and are therefore quieter."

"I really love how the train comes exactly around the time it says it will come. I like looking at the schedule and being able to predict what time it will come and what time I will reach the ferry. I like that the time it arrives is always a few minutes before the ferry leaves so I don’t waste any time waiting around. I also love that it is free but in the winter it is freezing there."
