"I booked this classic cab for photos before my wedding and it MADE my wedding pictures. My guests loved it and it was just the NYC element that I needed to make my photos pop. Booking was super simple and straightforward and on the day-of, the driver texted to let me know he was there, then hung out while we snapped, then texted when he was departing. "I loved renting the checkered cab and taking city pictures with it for my wedding! Kris the driver was dressed in a vintage suit and was really nice! I was wary at first because I paid upfront and then sometimes email communication was lacking, but in the end they do send you the contact info of the driver so you can coordinate with them. There also was no AC in the cab, but it was actually a beautiful August day! I loved this experience over all and am so happy we got one of these cabs. The pictures will be fab!"
"Absolutely terrible and unprofessional. The driver showed up in jeans and a baseball cap. He was video calling someone with one hand, driving with the other. We booked and paid for 3 hours up front with clear expectations. Then, 1:15 minutes in, he says he can't take us to a pre-planned spot to take pictures. He has another pickup! So my wife and I got stuck missing a bunch of photos, on our wedding day, so he could drop us off early. In the rain, they dropped my bride off at the wrong place and drove away. We would have been much better off just hailing a regular cab. After all that, the driver has the nerve to follow me into the hotel asking for a tip! It makes sense why their rating is low and dropping. It was so bad, I had to mention it. Definitely would NOT recommend."
"We rented the Checker Cab for an hour to drive us from our hotel to our wedding venue and to take a few photos. The driver was on time and incredibly personable. The car was immaculate and perfect for photos. They spent time looking for the perfect place to park the car so that the lighting, background, etc. were ideal. They were incredible and helped make the day so special. I highly recommend!"
