"Dr. Caldwell was dishonest and incompetent as well. Performed 2 temporary procedures on my back that were required by insurance that if they worked, insurance would cover a longer acting procedure for relief of unbearable pain. 1st procedure worked great. 2nd procedure absolutely nothing. Insurance would not cover long term procedure due to 2nd temporary procedure not being successful. After having issues with Dr. Caldwell not honestly assessing my pain on his medical report, I decided to seek out a new Dr. My new Dr.at my first office visit, Explained why Dr. Caldwell's 2nd procedure was unsuccessful. He performed the procedure on a different part of my back than the first procedure.2nd Procedure was supposed to be performed on the exact spot as 1st procedure. Upon hearing this I was stunned, because Dr. Caldwell made a very big deal about how the second procedure could not be performed in office as the first successful procedure was. He insisted that it had to be performed in ambulatory surgery center. This cost me a considerable amount of money and I got nothing but the same pain as before. I'm currently scheduling the procedure to be done by my new doctor. Which I'll have to pay for again. Hopefully I'll not have to go through another 2nd procedure as per insurance requirements and they will accept this next procedure if successful and I'll be able to have some longer lasting relief. Dr. Caldwell is not a Dr. I'd recommend to anyone, he's quite full of himself and is acquiring a little bit of a God complex where he believes he can do no wrong. Beware. This dr. Refuses to acknowledge any wrongdoing and when confronted, he basically pushed me out of facility I had be going to for 20 years to manage chronic pain from a brutal automobile accident. I would like to add that I always had a great relationship with all the PA's and nurses. The staff was never the problem. They were always very attentive and professional. Dr. Caldwell might want to take a lesson or 2 from his subordinates."
