"I developed an ankle/foot injury while running that left me with persistent pain when walking just one block. I was unable to wear casual work shoes, let alone run, for 6 months. A podiatrist recommended ongoing PT 2-3x/week. Based off a friend’s recommendation, I saw James, who was able to accommodate my work schedule and see me 1x/week. He clearly listened to my concerns, explained in layman terms the mechanics of my injury, and set me up with a structured treatment plan to address mobility, and then strength. Outside of our sessions, he identified exercises I could do at home with the limited equipment I owned. That was almost a year ago — my pain quickly subsided, has stayed away, and I was able to run a half marathon without any issues. "I've been coming to Resilience for PT since early March for my frozen shoulder (snowboarding injury). Love the one-on-one individual sessions (~20min manual stretching, 40min strength training). Zach is professional, knowledgeable and answers all my questions. Well rounded and progressive exercises to improve my external, internal rotation and overhead range of movement of my shoulder. Zach also gave me personalized exercises and stretches to do at home with easy to follow instructions. Easy to book and love the automated appointment reminders. Highly recommended!"
"I saw James for some knee pain I’d been experiencing for a while. He did a great job thoroughly assessing what triggered my pain, then tailoring exercises/stretches to the specific symptoms I was having. James has a really intuitive understanding of how different muscles/joints work together and is a great explainer.
