"My first experience was complicated by an out of state, expired prescription, but the desk staff was patient and helpful getting that resolved. Then I met my therapist, and I am thoroughly thrilled! She listens, responds to my concerns, explains exactly what each exercise is supposed to treat, is encouraging, and engages me in structuring my treatment. I am absolutely delighted with her! I'm adding to my review because I just graduated!!! Mel was my physical therapist, and I will miss her! She was so responsive to every concern or question I had. She supported my specific goals -- sometimes with creative exercises that targeted exactly the muscles I wanted to strengthen or knots and tension that needed unknotting and untensing. Mel knew I wanted to progress as quickly as possible, and helped me to improve at the same time that she watched carefully to insure I wasn't overdoing it. She was always upbeat, a great listener, and just plain fun. I can't say I ever expected to look forward to pt, but with Mel, I did every time! If you're looking for a great physical therapist, go to Spear and ask for Mel!"
