Cao Ning MD

"Doctor Ning just saw me for 15 second to pass me over the report. I took half day off, waited there for 40 minutes and paid $60 but she didn't even letting me get into the consulting room nor spending a minute with me. I am not sure if she's allowed to charge me without going over the details on the report with me together in a consulting or a treatment room. Also, in that 15 second she spoke out about my medical condition in the waiting room without my consent, it is clearly a failure to comply with HIPAA rule by exposing my medical record and my private information in front of the public. There were about 6 patients in the waiting room, this way of a professional conduct has to be addressed."

"I'm not surprised to see the handful of 1-star reviews. This office is obviously running a business with profit in mind and the doctor doesn't genuinely care for her patience. I've been seeing Dr. Cao for 3+ years now and I've never not felt rushed and I always felt like my health concerns were being undermined cause she didn't have the medical knowledge. American healthcare sucks and I hope one day everyone has access to better care."

"Horrible doctor. Never seems to actually care about your health other than running as many tests on you as possible so she can charge you as much as she can. To make things worse, she doesnt even tell you the results until you PHYSICALLY come into her office the next time, where then she will tell you that you need all these additional and unnecessary exams. Big waste of time, money and she doesn't seem to have any empathy for her patients."

"I have never experienced such terrible empathy, communication, and attitude from a medical professional until my second visit with Dr. Cao. My first visit went smoothly with Dr. Cao, but during the second visit she told me "I know nothing about [my condition]", refused to fill out leave of absence paperwork, and told me "this is the last time I'm helping you." When I told her office manager I refused to be billed for my visit as she did not help me with the goal of my second office visit and did not seek to understand, Dr. Cao rudely said to me in front of other patients in the waiting room, "I am going to bill you because you took up too much of my time."I saw her for a maximum of 10 minutes total, in which I explained how my condition has not gotten better. She was not empathetic at all, and had a very dismissive attitude. From reading other Google reviews, it seems I am not the only patient who had experienced this. I am never going back to Dr. Cao, and I hope others will think twice and know what's best for them."

"Dr. Cao is nice, but the office never sent me my blood test results or called me to say everything was okay until I asked; there's no patient portal; and they did tests that weren't covered by my insurance (without telling me they weren't). Worse, she promised to prescribe almost all of my medications, but when I called back about a particular one, she all of a sudden said that we'd never spoken about it (which we had) and she wasn't comfortable prescribing it. This put me in an incredibly challenging situation in which I ran out of it while scrambling to find someone else. Be careful."
