"I cannot recommend this bike show enough! Jeff and Mike are fantastic, honest, and extremely knowledgeable guys that are always willing to take the time to understand your needs to make the right recommendations. I've bought a couple of bikes here, and have been coming for all my repair and maintenance needs for many years now. You need not look any further, this is the place you've been looking for!"
"im 65, always fixed my own bike, and havent owned a bike since i was 16 and driving. back to a bike, and i go there for parts. its like i was 12 again. he doesnt over sell and he is more than fair in prices. makes me wish i got back on my bike sooner. ps- in 50 yrs a lot has changed in bikes. luckily, my new one is probably 25 yrs old. its amazing how much i dont know about bikes now. jeff answers my idiot 50 yr old questions without giving me the bums rush, fully knowing he will never make more than a few bucks selling me 2 or 3 parts for my beater bike. standup guy."
"I'm 36 , I've known Jeff for about 22 years. I don't have a negative thing to say about him. Always honest, looks out for the best interest of my bike, their is not much more I can ask for from an owner of a bike shop. My bike is there now getting fixed up . Just a great buisness and a great individual!!!"
"I dropped by bike off to sayville bike shop because it had ONE broken/stripped pedal. $70 later I was told I needed to pay for two pedals that were black and cheap quality ($20), not even matching my bike, in addition to a price to have had the bike looked over ($20) which was no my discussed with me, as well as a $25 charge for a new piece under my seat which I did not ask for or agree to. Plus tax, came to $70. I dropped the bike off for one pedal. I expressed my concerns to sayville bike works which were the following; 1.) My pedals were thick durable pedals that matched my bike, I thought since they were a bike shop they could get the one pedal for me. This was the point I’m going to them. 2.) I never agreed to a charge for them to look over the bike. 3.) I did not ask them to fix my seat. After expressing my concerns at sayville bike works, I was told that I could JUST call the company and maybe they would refund me since the bike is so new. What a poor answer to give a customer who you basically just stole money from. I am VERY disappointed with sayville bike works and I will make sure others are aware as well as anywhere else I can leave a review or whomever else I can contact. This was not right to do to someone. I work in Long Beach which has a ton of bike shops, yet I picked this one because I saw good reviews. What a shame. PS. I now have two useless black pedals and nonsense charges because I called the company huffy and they shipped me one pedal for $8.99."
"Best bike shop on the island by far! The staff is extremely dedicated and passionate, they thrive on delivering the best bike shopping and repair experience possible. They are always willing to go above and beyond for their loyal customers and community. Always support local businesses!"
