Reviews
"Love this place. It is a great bookstore with bigger selection of children’s books, games, manga and presents. Starbucks is right inside the store. Great place to visit with kids, you can hangout in coffee shop, read books…"
"Man, I’m a loyal customer with a rewards card, and so I come here like every weekend with my 6-yo, and there’s a street fair this Sunday, so they have some dumb rule about show a receipt to pee and theyve lost my business for I don’t know how long. This B&N makes the dumbest decisions over and over again, from “no strollers” many years ago to, “don’t let children pee without a reciept” on a random Sunday. Whoever is their head manager makes bad decisions."
"This used to be my favorite spot with my children, never left without at least 4 books per child...wanted to keep the tradition going with my grandchildren so disappointed. No more family reading, no more spending time engaged in reading....the beautiful part is it saved me a lot of money... because they were sad they said let's just order books from Amazon and read at home...staff please remember to harass all people about sitting and not just people of color."
"Bookshop I love to visit. They have all the most recent publications. Good also for other smaller stuff, not necessarily book-related. I always find myself spending more time there than I originally planned, enjoying the content they have to offer."
"Barnes & Noble in Park Slope, New York, appears to have taken a peculiar turn away from being a family-friendly destination. Their latest redesign has turned the store into a labyrinthine challenge, particularly for anyone navigating with a stroller. This shift is especially perplexing considering it directly impacts the children's section, traditionally a welcoming space for young readers and their families. It's as if the store has forgotten one of its core patrons - children. This approach not only makes it inconvenient for parents and guardians but also sends a disconcerting message about the store's priorities, straying from the inclusive, community-oriented ethos one would expect from a neighborhood bookstore."
